1. Introduction

LifeFeed AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us:

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and profile picture when you create an account.
• Content Data: Links, images, PDFs, and other content you save through the app's share extension.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including features used, read/unread status of saved items, and preferences.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Subscription Data: Subscription status, plan type (monthly/yearly), expiry date, and RevenueCat customer ID. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store — we never collect or store your payment information (credit card, billing address).
• Collections & Organization: Custom collections you create, including names, colors, and which saves are added to each collection.
• Notes & Annotations: Personal notes you add to your saved content.
• Read/Unread Tracking: We track which saved items you have opened to help you manage unread content and provide smart reminders.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

LifeFeed AI offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions: LifeFeed Pro Monthly ($2.99/month) and LifeFeed Pro Yearly ($19.99/year, save 44%). All payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment details such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform. RevenueCat receives your subscription status from Apple/Google and provides us with: subscription plan type, active/expired status, expiry date, and an anonymous customer identifier. This data is used solely to manage your access to Pro features.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your iTunes Account or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings: on iOS, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions; on Android, go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective refund policies. LifeFeed AI does not process refunds directly.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the LifeFeed AI service.
• Process and categorize your saved content using AI.
• Generate AI Weekly Digests summarizing your saving activity and themes.
• Send you reminders about saved content you haven't revisited.
• Sync your data across your devices (Pro feature).
• Manage your subscription status and Pro feature access.
• Respond to your support requests.

5. AI Processing

LifeFeed AI uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to automatically categorize, summarize, tag your saved content, and generate personalized weekly digests. All AI processing happens server-side — your content is sent to OpenAI for processing but is not used to train AI models. AI-generated data (summaries, categories, digests) can be deleted by you at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Payment processing for subscriptions. Governed by their respective privacy policies.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management platform. Receives subscription status data. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: AI content categorization, smart search, and weekly digest generation. Content is processed but not used for model training. OpenAI Privacy Policy.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use cloud services to ensure your data is protected and synced across devices. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• With your consent.
• To comply with legal obligations.
• With service providers who assist in operating our service (listed in Section 6 above).

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. Subscription data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus any required legal retention period. AI-generated data (summaries, digests, categories) can be deleted by you at any time through the app. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data, including subscription history.
• Export your saved content.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict processing of your personal data.

11. Children's Privacy

LifeFeed AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and on our website.
